Is Hull Rupture worth it? It is a single-player base-management tower-defense roguelite on Steam for Windows, macOS and Linux, and it launched on November 4, 2026. We have not played it ourselves, so this page weighs the price, early reviews and stated facts rather than offering a hands-on verdict. The Hull Rupture release date page has the full launch details.
Is Hull Rupture Worth It at $14.99?
The price is $14.99 USD, with a 10% launch discount ($13.49) until November 18. The developer is Konfa Games and the publisher is tinyBuild. You steer a living spaceship as Despot, a tyrannical AI, placing hull blocks and modules while alien waves walk toward the airlock. Steam lists it under Action, Indie and Strategy.
If the free demo is still downloadable, it is the cheapest way to decide. The Hull Rupture demo page explains what carries over if you buy. What Reviewers and Players Say
| Source | Result |
|---|---|
| Steam, full game | Very Positive, 80% of 55 reviews at the time of checking |
| Steam, demo | 91% positive of 234 reviews |
| Next Fest demo | 93% positive among 25,389 players, 2h33m average playtime |
| Gaming Cypher | 8.5/10 |
The Steam numbers move fast after launch, so treat them as a snapshot. Gaming Cypher noted that shop and module randomization can make it hard to find a specific generator, and that Endless mode needs balance work. It also reported slowdowns after wave 40 in Endless. The Next Fest figures come from the developer's own post.
How Long Is a Run
Classic mode has 20 alien waves, and the run ends when Despot reaches 0 HP. The Wand preview says waves arrived about every three minutes in the previewed build. That suggests a run of roughly an hour, but this is our rough arithmetic, not a published figure, and the release build may differ. No source gives a total time to beat the game. Achievements such as "20-Minute Adventure" for Sprint hint at a shorter mode; see the Hull Rupture achievements page.
Single-Player Only: Co-op and Multiplayer
The game is single-player only. There is no co-op or multiplayer mode in the store listing. Controller support and Steam Deck status are not listed on the store page, so check the Hull Rupture system requirements before buying.
Who It Suits
Going by the stated facts, the game suits players who like roguelites with random shops and modifiers, and who enjoy planning a layout more than aiming a weapon. Combat and production run at the same time, so expect to juggle both.
